Joseph "Joe" Francis Reckard
August 9, 1942 - July 20, 2021 (Age 78)
On July 20, Joe Reckard passed into Glory in the arms of Jesus. O how we miss him. Born August 9, 1942 and born again in 1972. He is survived by his wife Marcia and his three children Christopher, Jennifer, and Daniel and six wonderful grandchildren, Sophie Grace and Elizabeth and Emma, Kylie, Duncan, and Kellan as well as his two sisters Marge and Nancy.
Joe’s heart has always been to teach the word of God. He led many bible studies and home groups over the years. Joe was a leader of the prayer chain at Joy Church of Matthews, North Carolina for many years. He studied there and received his minister’s license. He was also in leadership with Cleansing Stream Ministries at his Church.
Joe will always be remembered as a kind, gentle man who loved his God, his family, and his church.
